My name is Catherine Elliss, also known as Catherine J or Catherine Joy. For the last nine years, I have been heading up the social enterprise I founded, called Imagineering 2 a Better World. For over the last two years, I have been Sydney based.

What a crazy last two years we have had in NSW! We have actually had lots of plagues from fish dying up in Northern Rivers in February 2020, to plagues of mice and locusts, floods and floods again, many fires, on top of years of drought, darkness with eclipses and a full blood moon, and pestilence (C virus), no frogs though - actually yes cane toads are now in NSW! It is any wonder we are a bit weary.

Now it seems your role as a mum or perhaps as a mother figure if you haven’t had the blessing of children, is being not only challenged, but outright stolen in the face of having no say in our children’s education or even over their bodily autonomy.

Then as we get more and more pressed in on all sides, we might vent on social media. However here it seems is where more pressure comes, not in keeping up with the Jones’ or even the typical and ugly comments perhaps about our bodies or clothes, but Cancel Culture. If we question any current narrative, we can easily be seen as an enemy. Thus, we can be silenced! This can also be within our families or our workplaces. This has definitely been part of my own story! 

However, isn’t it empowering to think we actually do have a voice? Perhaps you have written letters or notices following you or a close family member’s or friends’ termination of employment, perhaps you have attended a freedom rally and realised it was never about being injected or not injected, but about choice, mostly choosing to respond in love and peace and joy, no matter what. Choosing not to cave in to bullying and coercive control tactics, but to choose instead to wake up and rise up for our children, our future and future generations.

In these last two years in particular I have chosen to focus on what God is doing here, around Australia, our region and around the world. I have joined various groups for a season and continued with others. The commonality I have found is that although the world has much to offer, it is when we based our lives on the solid foundation of Jesus as the rock, that there is hope. These days the groups I have chosen to be active in are all kingdom of God focused. How can we show the goodness of God, particularly in these crazy times? 

God gave me a blueprint back in 2013 which is becoming a movement, Imagineering 2 a Better World. The 4 transformational steps are Imagine (Vision) – Solution – Commit – Partner. From the first few hundred people I did this with, I came to see it is about bringing heaven to earth in practical ways. Visions were most often peace, harmony, love, kindness, joy, … even righteousness (this was common amongst secular teens – I wish people would just do the ‘right’ thing). Children, teens, young adults, and older adults, students, prisoners, refugees, Christians, Muslims, orphans, business people, leaders in various industries, VIP’s have experienced this process and come to realise that they themselves hold the power to change their world. Part of my challenge in the last two years, is that the silencing of voices has come to include questioning anything, studying best practice from around the world, or collaborating to come up with solutions.

What is NEW is this fire in me to raise up Wise, Warrior Women who want to be seen and heard. It is TIME NOW. Your voice matters! You can become that person of influence to make change and take back power over our lives, our children’s lives and within the community, schools, even various levels of government! We have seen, to our detriment, that if we are not involved in decision making at all levels, from sports committees, school boards, and especially at governmental and legislative levels that craziness and oppression can easily erupt. 

Now is the time, you can become a powerful influencer in your sphere. I will show you how you can impact your family, your church, your school community, your business, your workplace, your sphere of influence.
